My name is Daniel Couttolenc, I was born in the city of
Puebla, Mexico in 1981. Due to my passion for architecture,
design and arts I studied industrial design at the
Iberoamericana University, Mexico City. At the end of my
first photograph class, I knew that it will be a part of my
life and since then I started doing photography, in part
self-taught and taking courses.
The theme of my work focuses in my country, Mexico, in the
richness of its colors, forms and textures that reveals the
face of a bright, vibrant and diverse country.
I define myself as a “street photographer”, I travel across
neighborhoods, streets and markets of towns and cities, in
search of fragments, corners or panoramas with which I can
have a dialog.
Photography is the way I free my mind, myself and the way I
communicate with the world.
